This article took researching the adverb system of translated sutra for the topic and the comparative research of adverb system in East Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms for the object.There are seven chapters all together. The first chapter introduced the background of this study. The second, third, forth, fifth and the sixth chapter had an exhaustive symbolic statistics separately on five hypo-genera of adverb's. Biggish sorts in subsidiary adverbs are summed up after every chapter. The last chapter compared these two adverbs systems.By comparative research of the sutra adverbs translated into Chinese between Eastern Han and Three Countries, it opens out the different and same points. The same part reflects that Three Countries sutra adverbs inherit Eastern Han ones. The different parts present their die out, increasing and crisis.During the isochronous portrayal of two adverb systems, this study analyzes the change of history development linking to some related data statistic. It pays attention to quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, and discusses the changes of phenomena, rules and reasons basing on the portray and analysis of two adverb systems. The comparative content of adverb systems are as follows: the increase and decrease of old and new words according to the quantity change; the comedown and rise of some adverbs according to the compare of word meaning; the together change of thesaurus and antonym, at last, making out all above of the change of adverbs are consistent with the law of the Han language development.The conclusion after comparing is:Differences: during the Three Kingdoms, the inheritable ability of the adverbs in the sutra translated into Chinese, the ability of producing new adverbs, opening to contain new adverbs, which are better than the one in East Han.Common points: either the Three Kingdoms' adverbs in the sutra translated into Chinese or East Han's is a system that stabilization and development exists synchronously. Adverbs double use (same meaning double use/contrary order / contrary meaning together / leaning meaning duplicate word), double phoneticization are their common characteristics, and also their important ways to produce new articles.
