| This paper deals with the time words in the translated Buddhist Sutra in East Han Dynasty,and makes an exhaustive statistic and classification of them.The time words are divided into two categories:time point words and time interval words.Based on "the Great Chinese Dictionary" and "the Dictionary of Buddhism",the meaning and usage of those words are discussed in detail.By contrasting the local literatures of the same period,this paper explores the influence of the introduction of Buddhist scriptures on Chinese time words and the traditional time concept of Han nationality.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this article is divided into three chapters.The introduction explains the research object,the research significance,the research method,as well as the present situation and the tendency of the time words and the translated Buddhist Sutra in East Han Dynasty studies.After exhaustive study of the time point words,this paper divides them into two types:time point words and time point structures.There are two kinds of time words:absolute and relative time point words,five kinds of time point structures:quantity type,prepositional object type,attributive type,direction type and subject-predicate structure.After exhaustive study of the time interval point words,this paper divides them into two types:time interval words and time interval structures.There are three kinds of time interval words:long-term,short-term and fixed-time interval words,two kinds of time interval structures:fixed-time and approximate-time interval structures.In the fourth chapter,the two aspects of the influence of the introduction of Buddhist scriptures has are introduced.The influence of Buddhist scriptures on Chinese time words is mainly on enriching the time words of Chinese and accelerated the Double syllable of Chinese vocabulary.The influence of the Buddhism concept of time on the Han nationality is mainly embodied in the concept of cycle time and the concept of maximum and minimum time. |
