The Way Of Perceptual Survival And Its Value Logic

Perceptual survival is such a cultural form or survival means that takes individual being-in itself existence as premise, and regards both free individual experiencing and aesthetic forms as their value outlook. Its purpose is to reflect nature, society, and human beings. The term "perception" used in this thesis is different from the traditional "perception and reason" cognition. Generally, the "existence" of perceptual discourse refers to an existing manner characterized by those irreproducible thoughts and practice. The foundation for it being there is the naturalism characterized by survival instinct and natural emotions. The value orientation of "existence" is those spontaneous systems such as individual emotion, hobby, interests, and belief. All these factors affect the development of subject. As a result, the subjects can possess a feeling of being at homeland in the fierce competition. Those factors can also become regulators and play the role of buffer to make subjects more humanized. In fact, nowadays perceptual discourse presents itself by its basic form, that is,life survival.Perceptual survival overlaps with such concepts as "living world", "daily life", "non-rational world", and "aesthetic living style" to some degree, but not completely. The purpose of perceptual survival is to get a whole picture of the world and search for nature of human beings so that one can rebuild the subjects of existentialism from "disorganized cause".The history of philosophy suggests that human beings have been yearning for perceptual survival from the ancient times. Then how can perceptual survival be controlled and not be overused? The answer lies in practice. In other words, perceptual survival cannot be understood just by regarding it as matter or implement. The following characters should also be taken into account: democracy, a sense of social responsibility, fairness and efficiency. In addition, there should be feasible norms that are well matched with perceptual survival. The carrier of perceptual discourse is reflected by the continuous production of its basis concepts. The basic concepts of contemporary perceptual discourse includes: "body", "ecological experience", and "meaning". Body"is where modern Perceptual survival show up; ecological experience is the new narrative form of contemporary perceptual discourse. Perceptual survival is the objective background and prerequisite of the contemporary "meaning" angel.Value thought takes the living practice as its canonical form, so it is a kind of piratical thought as well as a comprehensive relation thought. It is a relation thought that can be attributed to human beings, and it is dynamic, too. Value thought invariably leads to the full execution of value logic, including the appearance of such principles as "respecting other people as human" and the principle "the other". According to value logic, many of the "survival paradox" can be effectively explained by perceptual survival which is a broader point of view. The reason for this is that perceptual survival presupposes effective belief and the individual value reason which is the internalization of social value. The essence of the problem is the realization of the localized individual value reason. Individual reason refers to a person's ability to introspect and make judgment. This ability is represented by an individual's following actions: cognition, comprehension, desire, and determination. The direct changes caused by it are as follows: individual's cognitive ability getting self-renewed, individual's cultural and ethical quality advancing by leaps and bounds continuously, individual getting sustained improvement. As a result, the individual value reason is built. The indirect change caused by individual reason is the formation of the "general value principle" which is universal. As for the localized individual value reason, how to make its conscious enlightenment possible and how such enlightenment can be effective ask for further study.The development logic of the thesis is as follows: from perceptual discourse through well-integrated individual and individual value reason to general value principle and a person's free and independent survival and the progress of the whole society.
