Starting from a single individual, kierkegaard focused his philosophical research on individual survival. This paper mainly discusses the individual's survival characteristics and the individual's survival state. It is mainly divided into the following four parts:The first part mainly introduces in detail kierkegaard's unique life experience and ideological origin.Due to his natural disability,he developed an inferiority complex and introverted personality. The influence of his father and Regina, the occurrence of the pirate report incident, made kierkegaard particularly concerned about the survival of individuals. In addition, his philosophical thought is inspired by the philosophy of Socrates, but also by the philosophy of Hegel. The second part mainly discusses the survival characteristics. In the process of survival, the individual always occupies the dominant position. The individual is not only the subject of choice, but also the subject of experience. In addition, individuals are a complex of binary opposites. In the process of survival, individuals show distinct survival characteristics, that is,introversion. The individual, according to his view of truth, approaches god.In a sense,an individual's journey of existence is a lonely journey towards god.The third part discusses the state of existence and the goal ofexistence.Kierkegaard believed that individuals need to experience three different states in the process of survival, namely aesthetic state, ethical state and religious state. In the process of survival, individuals need to keep getting closer to god and "realize themselves".The fourth part mainly analyzes the influence, significance and limitation of kierkegaard's individual survival philosophy. His philosophy of existence takes the individual as the starting point and discusses the subjective experience of the individual in existence. The later philosophy of heidegger and Sartre was inspired and developed by this.In modern times,a lot of people lose themselves in their life and cannot find the value of existence. The interpretation of kierkegaard's thought of individual survival has an important enlightening effect on human survival. However,it should be noted that kierkegaard's idea of individual survival also has its unique limitations.
