The Paradoxical Existence Of Human Being And Revelation

The research of philosophy can't go without human being and takes it as an object throughout its whole history. Human being has never stopped questioning himself which is the theme for living. However, from ancient to now, this is the key problem. Such as:"knew yourself"of Socrates,"the human is an hairless animal with two feet"of Plato,"Human being is'rationality, will and heart'"of Feuerbach,"Human being is liberty"of Sartre, and so on. Human being has been wondering"The riddle of sphinx", but none of the answers can explain the nature of human being exactly, for it is a paradox existence which is natural and supernatural; limited and unlimited, physical and spiritual; independent and dependent. Any one-sided rule of human nature can't include the real existence of human being perfectly which is also the standing point of my thesis.The existence of is different from the object and the animal. Being opposite to the object, multiplicity of human being is so important that the neglecting of it will lead to one-sided realization. Only with the method of holding the nature of objects doesn't work the same with the nature of human being. So we can draw the conclusion that the way we recognize human being should be appropriate, only in this way we can research the particular nature of human being.The real ones are life-being. Life is the nature of realization. There is a great difference between human being and animals, because human beings have not only the same lives with animals but also the different lives with animals which are considered to be super lives beyond instinct lives. Human being is the existence with"self-consciousness"as well as the holder of himself. Different from animals'surviving passively, human beings is actively, motile, dependently and independently.Human life is a denial-unit with multi-contradiction in contrary to linearity of animals.Human beings come from the nature that they can't beyond the world of animals, so nature is part of meaning for humanity; in the mean while, they take it as the basement to go beyond the limitation of nature and live supernaturally which is an important part for the contents of human lives.Human being is limited. Limitedness is general for existence of human being. Human being knows he can't go without death and nihility from the first day he comes into the world. Although he is incapable of challenging the limitedness of living, he tries to do that for unlimited meaning of life and forever.Human beings have"superorganic"quest with"physical"and experiential existence, also in this process makes themselves to be human beings. Human beings are"superorganic"and"physical".The existence of human being is in certain social relationship but works independently without others and society. Each independent living should be together with others and society that requires both sociality and individuality which are contradictorily united.In a word, the real human lives are among such a complicated web with many contradicted relations: natural and supernatural, limited and unlimited, physical and spiritual, individual and social. They are always contradicted with each other. And with paradox which makes human being a complicated contradictive unit that exist in humanity. The reality of human life is paradoxical. It is the question in human self-awareness and self- cognition. Paradox means self-contradiction, self- negative and self-fulfillment which are derived from the two before. We can't delete the paradox of human being but we can make use of its negative to encourage ourselves with certain and transcend.It has theoretical and practical significance for discussing how to survive in the paradox and contradiction in the face of the multiplicity, paradox, diversity of human being. Each of us should think it is the real question. Therefore, learning how to survive in the paradox and contradiction is as well as the wisdom of survival each of us needs.Since the nature of human being it is not identity but diversity, agree to the relative priority for the contradiction and diversity, we should establish the discrepant view of world. In the real life world, we need to have a consciousness of tolerance, diversity of ideas, and live with nature, others, society in harmony.Human being comes from nature, so he can't disobey and destroy nature. The eternal pursuit of human values, we can only rely on the unity between human being and nature. It would be a one-sided axiology no matter without human being or nature.Human being developing together with nature should hold the view of naturalism in living and step forward towards ideal society: realizing the unity of natural humanitarianism and human naturalism is to realize the harmonious unity between human being and nature, others, society.
