The Theoretical Significance Of Psychology's Culture Shift

The research on human behavior is always a subject that people seek for ever. Behavior is conscious in essence. Thus, before analyzing the human behavior mechanism, we must carry on an investigation to human consciousness first. As a kind of reality existence, it is very nonfigurative, so researchers have got less progress.From the historical point of view, consciousness is also a kind of historical and process existence. Body growth is just one aspect for a person's growth. The development of a person is also the growth of his consciousness which plays a critical role as person's intrinsic soul. Therefore the development process of human being is just an evolvement process of consciousness. People is practical being, and the development of human,the consciousness and the practice activity are an indiscrete whole. We discover that consciousness relates with language and the other various cultural forms (this article refers to generalized culture) which are made of different symbolic forms. When exploring the creation and development of human and consciousness from the practice activity, we discover that the culture relates closely with consciousness. So the culture is a turning point of the psychology research.The several stages after psychology cultural shift and the guidance of philosophy development inspire us on consciousness research. The culture is introduced into psychology to explain psychology and behavior, and the culture construction psychology takes the word which represent the external physical world to relate with the specific society, the history and the cultural context ,which display an probability when the theory and the knowledge as an actor to explain the reality .Through analyzing the various cultural form constituted by language in order to explore the human consciousness, the linguistics turn of philosophy provided a more direct way for us to explore human consciousness: from the language and the other various cultural form, we can explore human consciousness in certain degree. The thesis first sketchily analyzed the relations of the human consciousness, person and sign, which is the foundation of the whole text. We briefly point out the historic connection about the language and human consciousness in the process of narrating the creation of human consciousness and sign: language is the earliest sign to express human consciousness. With the development of human practice ability, various symbolic forms are produced immediately. The creation of the sign not only promotes person as main body in the progress of reconstructing the world, but also make good preparation for person's individual consciousness rising to the social consciousness .The function of sign represent thought, which further contact the thought (consciousness) of the person with sign together.Human is one practical being, human's any development and change all relates with the practice activity of knowing and transforming world .The development process of person and human consciousness, is also the enhancement process of human practice ability, which three are an inseparable whole. The any development and progress of person and human consciousness in understanding, transforming world process all related with language (as well as other cultural form, just as myth ,religion, art, science and so on ) ,which exist as the intrinsic key and outcome of practice activity. From this point, we put forward this article viewpoint: Language (as well as other cultural form, just as myth, religion, art, science and so on ) is realistic consciousness, which mainly displays three aspects : First, it turns immediate consciousness of individual into speech behavior that can communicate with the other exchangers at any moment, and make human consciousness change into realistic material strength in reconstructing world ;Second, it makes outcome of human consciousness activity from generation to generation saved in the"reservoir"of the history culture ,which enable human consciousness to solidify and spread to everyone; Third, people can surmount the reality to construct"an ideal world"in his own consciousness world to satisfy them to pursue own value and the survival significance ,simultaneously it also can make people's guesses and conservations about future change into reality gradually in the person's practice activity. Thus, the person's consciousness of past and future, which we hardly marched into, takes on"the present"in the certain degree and gets the carrier they might depend on, so that person's past, present and future link closely together.The thesis mainly discusses the view from the following several aspects:1) Sign is realistic consciousness in the human practice activity. Because of the function of the sign, person's thinking activity can carry on. Relying on them, person's consciousness results might change into reality practice strength.2) Sign and the other various cultural forms make the abstract consciousness turn into reality existence. The evolution of human consciousness links with the mankind's thinking form closely, the different form of the sign influences the production process and its concrete manifestation of the consciousness .The outcome of human consciousness in the different stages of human practice activity, such as language, myth, religion, art, science and so on, which record the evolution of human consciousness and enable human consciousness solidify; On this foundation, each generation can inherit the knowledge all previous dynasties have accumulated (namely consciousness crystallization), thus let the contemporary person speed up the progress in knowing and transforming world ,and enable human activity in knowing and transforming world of all people in all times and all countries become into infinite development dialectical movement, and simultaneously make the human consciousness inherited in generations.3) The transcendence of human consciousness mainly referring to self-awareness. Beside the"object consciousness", people also have their own"self-awareness". People can surmount their own narrow, limited existence to create an ideal world (namely cultural world) in their own"consciousness world",in order to pursue the value and the meaning of the life.The thesis elaborates the human culture occupied by human consciousness from the historical development angle. On this foundation ,fatherly from the main body angle, the thesis briefly elaborates human consciousness has been occupied by the human culture from the human evolution process and the humanity outcome two aspects, which further analyzes that the human culture has rootstock function to the human psychology and the behavior .As"realistic consciousness", language, religion, myth, art, science and the other cultural forms provide us a new angle to study the human spirit phenomenon and the cognition development, which is a reasonable way for us to explore human consciousness. Through analyzing Language and the other various cultural form to explore the consciousness, is the theoretical significance of psychology's culture shift.
