The dissertation is divided into four parts.In foreword, the author shows readers the value of her research and the reason whyshe choose this topic. Firstly, the author introduces the current situation of studying thatinheritance from conventional researches without adequate consideration and lack ofrealistic researches, most contemporary scholars pay less attention to researches on"Liushu" during the period from Song to Ming. Actually, we must make a fair andobjective assessment of them.Secondly, the author mentions the principle of research. With a explanation ofprincipal ideas about Chinese philology initiated by Wang Ning, this part play the roleof introduction and also provides and academic proud for the dissertation.Thirdly, the significance of the study on "Liu Shu Ben Yi". "Liu Shu Ben Yi" isan work of Philology written by Zhao Huiqian of Ming Dynasty. In short, Zhao Huiqianthe's theory of "Liu Shu" having many valuableviewpoints.
