| "Fanzheng"is an adverb used frequently, which are listed in second class words in Chinese Proficiency Glossary Rank Program.The text altogether carried on multi- angles discussion on"Fanzheng"from four aspects.The first aspect discussion is about semantics.1. Its semantics was discussed from logical semantics characteristics. The logical proposition was mainly about relations. Its logical semantics characteristic is unique, which is "the result is invariable no matter the situation", applying dilemma inference. That its logical semantics has general condition was obtained through three logical expressions: " p→q∧ˉp→q∧p∨ˉp→q "," s→q∧p→q∧w→q∧s∨p∨w→q","p→q∧p→q". Chinese Lian Words and expressions by Zhou Xiaobing was also profited in elaboration. A graduation semantics series was established. The affirmation or the denial on two extremes of semantic series was carried on. Also, the affirmation or the denial was given to entire semantic field in any situation.Then its semantics was discussed from the language significance. It is known that the logic is not equal to the language and the logical significance is not equal to the language significance. The logic portray of conjunction is the nature of logical proposition. In language form performance, the identical logical meaning often has many words to display. Besides equivalence in logical significance, the words to present identical logical meaning are different. These differences are not logical. They are the own things of language and also the language significance.2. The past tense indicates an affirmation of a fact and undoubted determination statement. It is one kind of appraisal and has the subjectivity. The future tense indicates a firm manner on what is going to do. It is mainly used in the declarative sentence and few in exclamatory sentence and imperatives. This due to that it is one kind of subjective tendentious indication ingredient. The premise, focus, and choice have been involved simply.The third aspect concerned discussion about syntax performance. As is known, the grammar research includes syntax, semantics, and usage. The grammar used in three planes theories is"the big grammar". In the big grammar, the semantics and language analysis become one aspect of grammar research separately, since three planes restrict and influence mutually. The logical semantics characteristic and function of"Fanzheng"must display with syntax form. Thus, the syntax position of"Fanzheng"was discussed in this part. Its position in the sentence is comparatively free. The conclusion that usage of"Fanzheng"in front of the subject is strong word order was obtained through certain data.Grammatical function of"Fanzheng"was also talked about in this part."Fanzheng"may decorate the phrase as well as Subject-Predicate sentence. However, it must be limited when decorating the single word time.The fourth aspect discussion is comparison of"Fanzheng"and other similar words. In this part, the understanding was strengthened through discrimination of"Fanzheng"with other similar words and its usage is clearer. In the elaboration, explanation was done with language material data retrieved in language materials storehouse. Regarding analysis of"Fanzheng", although analysis from many angles already has been made thoroughly in this article, insufficiency and space that allows further research still exist. Preliminary analysis and showing on several related aspects was attempted in this article.Although semantic research about"Fanzheng"is quite thorough, lasted research has not been involved. Large research space still exists. Discrimination with other similar words and expressions is in description status, waiting for further discussion. The aspect of chapter is a tropic that allows further develops also.
