This dissertation will explore on the indication of degrees of adjectives in Honghu Dialect. Honghu Dialect has various forms of Indication of Degrees of Adjectives, including stative adjectives, degree adverbial, degree complements and reduplication. To be more specific, stative adjectives belong to the Lexical layer , and degree adverbials and complements the syntactic layer. The reduplication seems to be much more complicated, belong to the Lexical and syntactic layer.The whole content of the dissertation will be divided in seven parts.Part one will be a selective survey, mainly concerned with the basic background situation of Honghu and Honghu dialect, the analytical literature review of indication of degrees of adjectives and the scale and perspective of this research.Part two will introduce stative adjectives in Honghu dialect, this part will be unfolded in three aspects: the form, semantic meaning and syntactic function. Besides, it will give a brief description of special four-character adjectives.Part three and four will turn to the degree adverbial and degree complement in Honghu dialect. The former has a specific grammatical feature and vivid descriptions, "Tai", "Ji", "Man", "Hei", "Gadi", "Yuefa", "Zui", "Geng" are considered to be the examples of this kind. The latter is also quite different while comes into use, e.g. "Shang", "De", "Hen", "Si". I will give a detailed survey from the grammatical pragmatic and etymological aspects, and will try to conceive the explanation of some situations. Both of the two parts analyze indication of degrees of adjectives in Honghu dialect from the syntactic aspects.Part five will turn to reduplication, due to its various forms, I will use the whole part to analyze it. The reduplication forms of Honghu dialect focus on the reduplication of adjectives, degree adverbials and complements, and the phrase. The first one belongs to the Lexical layer and the next two the syntactic layer.Part seven will come to a conclusion; it will examine the main features of indication of degrees of adjectives in Honghu dialect and point to the way ahead.
