The Analyse Of "’Very’ Type Adverbs Of Degree+State Adjectives" Grammatical Phenomenon

As we know, adverbs of degree cannot be directly used to modify state adjectives. But in modern Chinese, the use of "adv. of degree+state adj. " has appeared. This collocation has not been acknowledged by the linguistics world, and the number of this collocation being listed in corpuses is still small, especially compared with the number of "adv. of degree+character adj. " in corpuses, but this grammatical phenomenon has come into being. Therefore, we need to face the fact that people have been using this collocation in verbal communication, and this fact cannot be neglected when doing research on grammar.In this article, we focus on studying "very" type of adverb and state adjective which are emerging grammatical phenomenon. We have analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively the 674 sentences with this collocation mentioned above in CCL corpus, the first time in this field, and found that this collocation can appear in any syntactical functional place except for the subject. The frequency order is predicate>attribute>complement>object>adverbial modifier. Meanwhile, this collocation is found to be used in various types of writing, especially in online languages, except for that of law.From the CCL corpus we collected a large amount of words with the elements of "very" type of adverb and state adjective, On the basis of frequence of appearance and scope of use, the function of sentences distribution we embark detailed description and summary by doing so from the perspective of cognition we can study the cause of how grammatical rules come into being:one reason is that under the influence of thought of foreign language senior translator maybe recognize the "very" type of adverb and state adjective with an higher level than those native speakers, so that is why those items are frequently seen in their works, and the distribution of their works make them even recognized more widely; The second reason is because of the self-improvement of Chinese itself, with the impact of analogy mechanism and push of feature of State adjective predicate. This grammatical phenomenon can be widely used after they come into being, There are reasons why they are widely used, that is to say under dual effects of the decrease of state measure meaning and the degree of fuzziness degree adverb, The largest irregularities to this grammatical phenomenon is degree of redundancy which is greatly mitigated, then we can see the reasonable existence of syntactic and semantic. At the same time with the development of society and the change of people’cognition this kind of match can be widely used on the internet, but with the the special composition it is limited when it is used orally.However, since this phenomenon first appeared in 1927, people have not been using much of it in communication, which shows the limits of the use of it:(1)only typical and common adverbs of degree and adjectives that wear much in degree meaning appear in this collocation; (2) the oral features of conciseness and shortness limit its use in oral language; (3)the instantaneity of online communication limits its further influence.In all, language is always evolving. With the development of human cognition, there will be new collocations all the time to satisfy people’s need for expression. The new ones will compete with the already existing structures and challenge the original grammar, restructuring it at the same time. It is through this kind of destruction and reconstruction that every language enriches and improves itself.
