There were small scale blocked mountain in the area , the forest resources were protected more or less; In the mid-stage and late stage of Ming dynasty, a large number of immigrants entered the northwest of Jiangxi,and planted in the mountain area. During the Ming dynasty, the planting aggravated furtherly, economic crops became the main vegetation. 3, In the south of Jiangxi, since the mid-stage of Ming dynasty, this area had attracted a large number of foreign immigrants. They lived by farming in the mountain and established, then, the mountains were full of crop cultivation. And there were only a little natural forest in the medium and high mountains. During the Ming dynasty, the forest change of Jiangxi accompanied with the development of the hill,mountain, and in consequence, the natural forest were replaced by crop cultivation.
