Non-germination versus Germination, the couple of concepts, firstly appeared in Central Harmony, so too firstly opened the door of the Doctrine on Mind and Human Nature, which is included into by the concepts. But Central Harmony didn't go further in the studying of Non-germination versus Germination. Approaching experience of Non-germination and the effort of Germination still waited for the followers. But in the river of history, this follower didn't appear all the time until Li AO in Tang Dynasty wrote the book ,which was based on the thought of Central Harmony, namely the book Recovered Human Nature. But this book lastly took the substance of Non-germination into the gate of Buddhism, which resulted in suffocating the effort of Germination. Only to the Song Dynasty, the Neo-Confucianism began springing up. Non-germination and Germination were granted importance by Neo-Confucians never as before.Cheng Yi's Non-germination versus Germination embodied Confucian's attention to efforts of Germination. But his experiencing Non-germination wasn't in the field of Non-germination so that he didn't experience Non-germination so that still stopped in the field of Germination at last. Fortunately, owing to Neo-Confucians' continual efforts. The experience of Non-germination gradually turned to the field of Non-germination, especially in Yang Shi—Luo Congyan—Li Tong, a vein, and the School of Ho Tsang. This transformation in fact broke through the barriers from the School of Li to the School of Xin.The true experience of Non-germination inevitably discards the objects outside, breaking away from the scope of experience and directly pointing to the heart, which is decisive function during the transformation from the School of Li to the School of Xin. The experience of Non-germination is a knife, which cuts the cage of the namely principle and Human Nature and watches the wide sky of the School of Xin outside. However, granted only experiencing Non-germination is not enough, for Confucianism is confronted with the reality, so it is inevitably to logically make Non-germination be embodied in the reality. It doesn't belong to the Confucianism without confronting to the reality, which is necessary for the demand of the nature of Confucianism. So it forms the second part of my thesis, embodying the substance from two levels, namely of Non-germination and Germination. The first part of my theories mainly expounds that experiencing Non-germination pushes the internal development of Song and Ming Neo-Confucianism, making Neo-Confucianism return to the pre-Ting Confucianism. Showing the substance from two levels is dependent on each other, without the first, the second level will become water without source and the tree pulled by the roots. Without the second, the first level will not develop, even to be suffocated or turn Confucianism to Buddhism.
