Under the development of politics, economy and culture, Tv-drama has become themost popular way of entertainment and source of story in China nowadays, desirebroadcast in 1990s is one of the typical examples.As a famous scriptist in China, Haiyan has not only written some most popular TVseries, including plainclothes police, love story, Never in peace, Jade Goddess Of Mercy,What Can I do to Save You, My Lover, In Prison, but also built his unique narrativemode——"case+love". Therefore, to study Haiyan's works, we should mainly focus onthe narrative discourse——story and discourse.This chapter thesis is a study of Haiyan's fictional TV-Drama; the author appliesnarrative theory analyzing its narrative discourse and aesthetic practice. In the firstchapter, the author discusses the cultural currents that contributed to the production ofHaiyan's works and introduces the study status of it. The second chapter depicts itsnarrative mode from the aspect of story, including themes, characters and plots, explainshow Haiyan represented humanistic and heroic themes under the surface of case and lovestory. The third chapter examines its discourse——narrative strategy and style aesthetic,from narrator to structure, and the invisible narrative of time-space. In the end, the authorexplores the narrative discourse from aspect of rhetoric to discuss Haiyan TV-Drama'snarrative and cultural meaning.
