Digital Technology In Chinese Movie Art Application

We are living in a Digital era. Digital technology is permeating every sphere of people's life. Since the digital technology was first used in movies in late 1960s, it has greatly influenced the producing, spreading, acceptance and other aspects of movies. Its application in every aspects of film area can be the third revolution on history of film,after the former two that changed from mute to sound,back---and-white to color. While lasted the film industry unprecedented and tremendously, it goes even farther than last one through comparing their depth and widths. The producer's imagination has been totally liberated from the limit of technology. Science fictions, disaster scenes and three-dimensional cartoons become an important object of texts. The science fiction movie stabilizes its position in mainstream movies, and a new movie type-the disaster movie begins to come into being, and the cartoon becomes a mainstream movie. At the same time, digitized video is urging the renovation of movie's "true aesthetics". Through magical digital technology, movie video becomes a "true lie". In the domain of film beauty appreciation, the film language is faced realignment, and the film spectator get a more active appreciation state. While the digital technology influence the film industry revolutionary, it puts us into endless thinking.From perspective of technology philosophy, the proper was organized in such a way that firstly definite the connotations of digital technology and film,then clarify its deep influence on film and its industry, the style of films, the appearance of film types the making, publishing and showing ways that have enrich the films; the changes in the pattern of film circulation, the new exploration of film nature; the change of the aesthetics viewpoint in traditional films; the high income of box---office receipts. Meanwhile, there is analysis on the paper that if goes too far, it would backfire and has all kinds of bad influence. The development of Chinese movie is still at the crossroad of Digital movie while it is spreading in the worldwide. Chinese movie has to catch up with the flow of development of world movie from the scientific standpoint. The history of development of Digital movie is short and Digital movie is still facing many challenges and difficulties. How to combine Digital movie with traditional movie to achieve the true beauty in art will be discussed in this dissertation. Processing the extraordinary power, digital technology have bought film to a totally new living space. The Digital movie is irresistible. At the end,we focus on the problem that how Chinese film industry can survive under the shock of it and make some reasonable measures, in the hope of providing some profitable references for creation and development of the film of China.
