Study On Tempera Painting Materials

The transformation of the present age painting art not only represents on the language formation and conception, but on the material and medium of the work of art .The painting material is the premise and base of the substance medium and creative art ,in other words , the painting material also is the perfect and important medium to express the appreciation of the artist .In the view of traditional painting material, the painting material is the tools and means and in the modern artist opinion ,the material itself is the main subject and artistic language .The rapid development of later modern philosophic language have changed the view of the painting material .Studying on artic material and material itself value are all confirmed by many artists ,as well as , the painting materials become civilization medium .From the point of material language and on the base of material language development rule as well as unique appreciation value , I have already understood the Tempera's old material value and researched for joint point with modern painting art .
