At present, it is very difficult for the graduates to find a job. The competition for job is more drastic day by day. The students who study to reveal themselves will be successful .The first step of corporation inviting applications for a job is selecting resumes, so it is very important to make a good resume. But in China the study about resume is not too much.In view of the actual importance, this study begins with the view of psychology, use the approach of eye-link , and search how the characters of resume(the picture specially) affect people's attention and the scan path of reading resume. The participants are asked to read some resumes and then select one for interview. This study analyses three factors of picture with eye-link parameter: type(one-inch standard picture, three–inch living picture),location(left-up, right-up) and color(black and white, color).Addition, it analyses whether people would like to read some fixed location with the parameter of the first fixation location. The results showed that :1,The three-inch living picture absorbs more attention than one- inch standard picture does .2,The picture which is located on the left-up of resume absorbs more attention than the right-up one does.3,At the condition of having time limit, the black and white picture on the right of resume absorbs more attention than the color one on the right. But at the condition of no time limit or having time, the other characters of picture don't have significant difference.4,Usually, the picture is the first attention point.
