Discussion Of Chinese Modernization Mode On "Sheng Bao Yue Kan" Based On The Analysis Of Special Issue In 1933

Modernization is one of the important cases in the social modern history of human beings. All of the counties and nationalities in the world participated in the modernization process of human society actively or passively in some degree. The modernization process of Chinese society is not only a process which pushed the society to the target of modernization on the basis of learning the modernization theories of western countries and drawing lessons from them, but also a process which kept finding the solution of problem and conflicts met in the process because of its own special situation and exploring, amending and improving the Chinese modernization mode.The discussion about the Chinese modernization on"Shen Bao Yue Kan"in July, 1933, is the first time that the Intelligentsia focused on Chinese modernization. It greatly impacted on the following research of Chinese modernization process. Based on the in-depth studies the special issue, the thesis analyzes the understanding and selection of Intelligentsia to the Chinese modernization mode, in the early 1930, and discusses three possible mode of Chinese modernization -- individual capitalism, socialism and non-capitalism -- especially the non-capitalism which the intellectual canonize, to get a comprehensive understanding to the discussion. The thesis is organized as the following:Firstly, it presents four reasons of the form of Chinese intelligentsia, which includes differentiation of scholar-bureaucrat, popularization of modern education, transformation of social main thoughts and the abolishment of imperial examination system, and exploration process of Chinese intelligentsia to the modernization.Secondly, it concretely analyzes three modernization modes: individual capitalism, socialism and non-capitalism which were deeply discussed by the intelligentsia. Finally, through the comparison between the non-capitalism and the modernization mode which claimed by Chinese Communist at the new-democratic stage, it concludes that the discussion about the Chinese modernization on"Shen Bao Yue Kan"in July, 1933 is the beginning of substantial research stage. It gave an operable advice on the Chinese modernization construction and can be used for reference of new-democratic mode of Chinese Communist.
