George Gershwin is one of the most representative and the most distinguished composers. And he is also one of the most prominent musicians, the most talented composers in the United States. He write numerous mass popular pop songs and the serious, classical flavor of the great orchestral works. Whether in a Broadway stage or elegant music room, he is highly successful.He uses of black folk music and jazz music factors in his works. The most representative works : jazz symphony "Rhapsody in Blue", the symphonic poem "An American in Paris". "Piano Concerto in F" and the "Cuban Overture" and the opera "Borgei and Bess". Among them, Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" is a work of special significance. It changed the fate of jazz music, jazz elements referred to a new, higher level. And make it a work of equal status with other components in Symphonic music world. "Rhapsody in Blue" will become the first jazz music onto the art stage for success.In "Rhapsody in Blue", we can see some creativity of Gershwin's temperature charac- teristics. The most prominent is the trend, his rich-sounding melody with a strong attraction; distinct rhythm and syncopation; on the theme, the motive and other material handling. Gers- hwin's temperature basically no development or launch, but more repetition.
