From the end of the 19 th century to the beginning of the 20 th century was a significant period in the history of the United States.After the war,the United States began to recover in the aspect of cultural industry and was influenced by Europe in the aspect of musical culture.At the same time,the United States was eager to find its own musical form with national characteristics under the impact of multi-ethnic fusion of musical culture.There was a particular type of music in the United States that was not appreciated because of racism.It was what we now call jazz music of black origin.He loved and the research of its national folk music,tries to use a purely American music form the true feelings and life of the people,his creative activities for new,his creative activities opened a new path for the revival of American folk music.The author's study is a two-piano version adapted from the score of works performed by an orchestra,which is one of Gershwin's works of great research value.The two-piano version of Rhapsody in Blue not only contains the fusion of jazz and classical styles,but also has many different characteristics compared with general two-piano works: Two solo piano in their big space,for example,has greatly increased in timbre,play the technical difficulty to imitate,emotion and pedals use technique aspects are put forward higher request,between the two piano playing is not like traditional double piano works with trenchant primary and secondary,and tend to echo each other two presided instruments.This work shows the charm and style of jazz to the world,with lyric and vitality.It has a fresh and new musical effect when you appreciate it,and is the inevitable product of the development of American music culture.
