The Chinese landscape painting is one of the art forms with a long history,and become a important part of Chinese national culture.As its own independent esthetics system,landscape painting establishes a new school and becomes the represent of Eastern in the painting art of the world.Its nature places emphasis on refelecting the inner spirit and persues the dialectical unity of spirit and resonance,appearance and spirit, feelings and forms .Landscape painting stresses investigating thoroughly in realizing methods,the vivdness in creating process,and bold outline in expression of art. But in the middle of Chinese landscape painting ,the concept of"spirit-resonance life-movement"as its general spiritual principle is the most important aspect.The concept of"spirit-resonance"in painting theory is associated intimitly with Chinese traditional painting. All the painting theories from different dynastics (EastJin , Southen Dynasty, Sui, Tang, Wudai, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasty) to contempory generation put tremendous emphasis on the characteristic of Chinese painting :expressing the spirt. This characteristic was also put on the primary position. The function of"spirit-resonance"of landscape painting has been the method of expressing the painter's ideas,feelings and spirit. The spirit is derived from rhythm,in its turn the rhythm embodys the spirit.The two respects promote one other.No matter how far the times go on and what kinds of the styles of appearance are developing, the landscape painting can't leave these two words.This paper believes that the form and the content, the spirit and appearance of landscape painting are the high degree of unification.These esthetic concepts have been the spiritual core of artistic painting creation,as far as Chinese painting it concerned. Spirit-resonace is demonstrated to have great importance and signigicance in Chinese traditional picture. |
