So far, the development of traditional Chinese landscape paintings has had more than a thousand years in history, among which Yuan Dynasty's are the highest peak where they expressed emotions lyrically, Yuan painters extolled elegancy, among whom NiZan was the most typical, "leisure theory"advanced by him was the most spirit-meaningful content and typical representation of the literator' perfect form in Yuan landscape paintings.NiZan, as one of Yuan four famous painters, was also the deputy of literator painters, A large number of themes used his empty and brief painting style to show Yuan literators suffered the rule and oppression from different race but release in spirit.His thought was affected by confucianism, Tao and Buddhism, so his works always show rich connotation with least pen and ink but unlack of vividness in silence, Although his paintings seem to look vacant in performance, the real content is guite rich, which shows limitless scene in limit appearance, Besides, he advanced a great deal of painting aesthetic idea, where he advocated to show inner leisure while painting and stressed on the expression of subjective emotions.Hence he didn't require similarity in shape but holding alike in spirit with real object and linking subjective feeling to object's individual character to achieve the great unite of shape and spirit, which is the soul in his painting aesthetic thought and the great summary to literators'painting theory and make painters express subjective will more freely to amuse themselves.He thought the purpose of the painting wasn't to reappear the shape of the object, but emphasize painters'inner joy and sadness.The comparison between the predecessors'and his understanding to leisure has connection and difference.His life state and creative style make"leisure"express brighter. As an important category of literators' paintings aesthetic thought, he expressed properly the lofty, broad-minded, transoulgar and elegant life interest and aesthetic ten dency which Chinese ancient intelligentsia sought.Leisure paintings has brief, far and meaning-boundless aesthetic character in artistic conception and connotation,which was transcendence to the world. It is also a show of life attitude and spirit state, NiZan's paintings and cognition and application to the pen and ink had active and far-reaching effect on the development of both Ming and Qing's literators'paintings as well as modern times'paintings.Yuan literators'paintings, in particular in landscape paintings,could achieve such unprecedented development, which wasn't occasional phenomenon. Since it was connected tightly with historical background cultural surroundings and their misfortune at that time Literators'painters at this period didn't admire the painting which was well-composed, splendid and purposely-paiting, However, they guite stressed on the painters' inner emotions. The landscape paintings of Yuan Four famous painters can reflect total thought and style of literators'paintings, who stressed style and pen and ink as well as they have definite life-morphology to be a support. They expressed subjective emotion and reflected inner mood by natural landscape.Countless outstanding Chinese ancient painters are just as mgriad start in the night sky. Instead,whether the angle from times circumstames, art style of painters'paintings or painting aesthetic view and so on not, I'm always fond of NiZan, the Yuan landscape paintings'painrer,meanwhile, I'm often attracted deeply by his unigue empty and profound artistic conception as well as fresh nature, super lunar and leisurely emotion. I seem to be able to learn something new and have limieless daydream every time I see his paintings, little by little, which make me bring about the idea that I want to study them. This article manages to discuss the aesthetic tendency, pen and ink's spirit in Yuan landscape painting and the inspiration to the development of modern landscape painting by times'background, the life experience,the belief on thought,paintings'aesthetic idea that NiZan went through. At the same time, it tries to real the works of him and another three famous painters in Yuan carefully in the area of style and pen and ink's spirit.
