The Initial Emendation And Apply To The Social Skills Rating System Of The Parences Having Children

People have paid more and more respect to the fact that the social skills is important for the individual development. Also the studies about social skills have been launched completely.In recent 20 years ,our scholars have been researching social skills ,mainly in identification and interventions ,which are the same with the west .It also improves the communication with the west in the field, the comparison of the culture between the east and the west ,and the localization evaluation form about the partial social skills in the western society .The research is drew up for the initial emendation to the social skills of the children aged 3 to 5 which has been applied universally. The SSRS was made by professor Frank M. Gresham and professor Stephen N. Elliott in 1990 .It provides a broad and complete assessment of student social skills .It can be used with preschool elementary and secondary students. Among the total 8 evaluation forms ,the one we are revised is used for the parents having children aged between 3 and 5.The research is applied in five kindergartens in JiLin ,and from it we choose three grades(middle, old, preschool) for the test .It examined the reliability analysis consisted of means cronbach'α,test-retest reliability ,and the validity analysis included construct validity . Through the initial emendation and application have comes some conclusions:1. The item analysis of the revised SSRS is quite reasonable.2. The reliability of the revised SSRS is trustworthy.3. The construct validity of the revised SSRS is not good enough.4. In the aspect of social skills, generally there are no age differences and grade differences .And the behavior problems are descending with the growing age and grade in kindergarten of fine environment.5. The testing forms shows: in social skills ,girls are better than boys ,however the sex difference is not notable.6. The testing forms shows: in problem behaviors ,there are remarkable sex difference, especially externalizing behaviors ,boys are much obvious than girls.7. The testing forms shows:effected by zhe parents'various culture level ,zhe social skills and problem behaviors were different.In the end ,the revise of SSRS is hoped to provides the reference for the later research.
