Family parent conflicts may cause middle school students to have adaptation problems or behaviors that threaten their mental health.Long-term exposure to the conflict environment will affect the individual's perception of external social support, and also affect the individual's evaluation of their core self, and then affect the development of individual mental health. To explore the influence of family conflict on middle school students' understanding of social support and core self-evaluation,and their relationship with problem behaviors. This study used CPIC,PNSS,CSE and YRS to survey 480 students in a middle school in Tianjin.Analyze the status and differences of parental conflict, perceived social support, core self-evaluation,and problem behaviors, and perform related analysis and regression analysis of variables, and explore the mediating effect of perceived social support and core self-evaluation between parental conflict and problem behavior. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)There is a positive correlation between parental conflict and problem behaviors, that is,the higher the degree of parental conflicts, the greater the possibility that students will have problematic behaviors;(2)There is a negative correlation between parental conflict and perceived social support and core self-evaluation,that is,the higher the degree of parental conflict, the lower their ability to perceive social support and the lower their level of core self-evaluation;(3)Perceived social support plays a mediating role between parental conflicts and problem behaviors, that is,parental conflicts can affect problem behaviors through understanding social support.(4)Core self-evaluation plays a mediating role between parental conflict and problem behavior, that is,parental conflict can affect problem behavior through core self-evaluation.(5)Perceived that social support and core self-evaluation play a chain-mediating role between parental conflict and problem behavior, that is,parental conflict affects the perception of social support, affects student self-evaluation,and then affects problem behavior.
