We establish a new data-base called'sense frequencies of Chinese polysemes in HSK'based on the two data-bases, and this new data-base covers these information below: level of sense, quantity of sense, frequency of sense, etc. According to this data-base, our statistics and analysis covers the following aspects: the quantity of sense, the frequency differences among sense, the level distribution of sense, etc. The result shows that the system of polysemes is complicated and mainly shows this in the area of sense, including the complication of its quantity, frequency differences and distribution transformation.According to the statistics as references, we do the further survey on sense used by second language learners. Our survey which covers 10 verbs includes the accuracy of ration, quantity of sense, proportion of sense and quantity of grammar forms in the foreign learners'sentences. We find that 3 factors which includes quantity of sense, frequency differences of sense and level of language learners effect on the acquisition of sense by foreign learners; and foreign language learners don't truly master the polysemes, as their use of sense and grammar forms are limited. Therefore we predict that there are certain ways in the processing of sense acquisition, which acted from limited sense to more and from limited grammar forms to more.Based on our research we suggest that no matter Chinese teaching as a foreign language, editing of textbooks or the establishment of HSK, we should base on sense.
