The field of art embraces a wide spectrum of ideas. Every art has its separatetheoretical basis and system. Tracing art to its regularity, there is a certain generalitybetween each factor which benefits from others for reference to develop themselves.Among the various art forms, the art of music has an effect on other arts, and the art oflandscape architecture is also of no exception. We should not deny back up this point ofview which is verified by many aspects, such as the growing courses and knowledgebackground of designer,different external forms of design works and the thoughts ofdesigners. Music is a direct expression of the feeling of human beings. It has a basicmeaning to scan landscape architecture from the angle of the art of music. Works ofvarious outstanding landscape architects and their knowledge backgrounds demonstratemodern landscape architecture should be an crossing subject and in a way point out itsmulti-variety directions and multi-dimensions in development. Music is a commonlanguage of human beings. All kinds of art have a factor of music, as the saying of arttheorist W.Pater goes "All arts aspire to be the state of music". Even now, we can receivereference which is helpful to landscape architecture. It should be neither a sort of"inebriation self-fantasy in the character", nor a sort of research of"pure form", but whatwe can leave behind on our hearts by the self of music and the experience of auditory onthe analysis of music is to research on the impression on the Mindset of ours.During the phylogeny of art, in a certain period, general aesthetical character ispresented between landscape architecture and music, so firstly this therne analyses thathow general aesthetical character translates into different art forms. Through researchingfour basic factors in aesthetics: perception,comprehension,association and imagination,analyzing principles of separateness factor or mutualism factors, the author concludes thekey regular pattern for seeing and hearing that is the internal principles between landscapearchitecture and music.From the theory of heterogeneous isomorphism, by defining theconception of garden space and music space, comparing roughly the inscape betweenlandscape architecture and music, this theme lays stress on the similarity between musicmodels and garden's spatial sequence. In addition, the ambulatory space in Liu Yuan isused to illustrate the music perception of the garden's spatial sequence. At the aspect of theorder of aesthetical character, the author makes a further discussion about internal relation between landscape architecture and music, then realizes and understands relation betweenmusic and landscape architecture from the rational level, thinks and compares the relationwith "number in the garden "of "number in the music", and introduces the conceptcounted, which is close to the essence of the things through the change.
