The Chinese Literary Criticism Under The Background Of The Medium Transformation

This paper has discussed the Chinese literary criticism under the background of the medium transformation since 1990s,and has mainly analyzed the influence that the media exercise on the literary criticism. It can be divided into three chapters.The first chapter has explained the essential concept, and has analyzed the research background and present research situation of this paper's subject. The second chapter has analyzed how the media influence the literary criticism. This part is the paper's core. It has made an investigation from the macroscopic angle first, and it regards the medium as a heteronomy factor to the literary criticism's development. Then, the paper puts the medium transformation and the development of the literary criticism together, and has discussed several important aspects of the influence that the media exercise on the literary criticism from the microscopic angle: the domination of the image and the marginal importance of the literary criticism, the multiplicity of the media and the multiplicity of the literary criticism,the market operation of the media and the commercialized tendency of the literary criticism. In a word, the influence that the media exercise on the literary criticism is latent but actually profound, widespread and complex.The third chapter has discussed the development of the literary criticism briefly. All kinds of literary criticism are necessary,and we must use the media positively, and we should strengthen the literary criticism itself.
