The Study Of Gaoqiao Local Dialect Of Daxu Town In Lingchuan County

The paper takes Gaoqiao local dialect of Daxu town in Lingchuan County as the object of study. It gives a comprehensive analysis from pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and so on so that it can provide the first reliable language material for the thorough research of Ping Dialect of North Guangxi.The full paper divides into five chapters. The primary coverage is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly introduces the geographical position, historical evolution and population condition of the investigated place;the internal difference of Gaoqiao local dialect; the basic situation of pronunciation co-worker's; the present research situation of Ping Dialec; the research techniques of the paper and so on.The second chapter gives a comprehensive description of pronunciation.It is the main body of the paper and includes six sections.The first section describes the phonetics system of Gaoqiao local dialect. Gaoqiao local dialect has 26 initials , 35 finals and 7 intonations.The second section shows the coordinate situation of initials , finals and intonations and lists the table.The third section enumerates some special change of phonetic phenomenon in Gaoqiao local dialect .It includes polyphonetic character ,the difference of codoquial reading and literary reading,morphophonemics, and some special pronunciation of certain words and expressions. The fourth section lists the homophone table.The fifth section summarizes some characteristics of the change of Gaoqiao local dialect and also compares it with the ancient pronunciation .The sixth section contrasts Gaoqiao phonetic system with the phonetic system of standard spoken Chinese.The third chapter briefly summarizes some essential features of the vocabulary in Gaoqiao local dialect. It points out the differences in the syllable, the word construction, the significance, the value, and the word frequency. It collects the commonly used vocabularies in Gaoqiao local dialect and divides them into 29 kinds according to the significance.The fourth chapter briefly analyzes some representative grammar characteristic in Gaoqiao local dialect from structure auxiliary, pronoun, noun suffix and so on . It gives the sound of two kinds of grammar sentence.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.It summarizes some basic characteristics in Gaoqiao local dialect, such as the internal difference is big, the mixing of grade is high, the pronunciation differentiation is disorderly, the regularity is not strong. The paper finally draws the conclusion that Gaoqiao local dialect isn't Xiang Dialect or Yue Dialect and should belong to Ping Dialect of North Guangxi. and also has its own unique characteristics.
