Since the 1990s of the 20th century, the creation of short stories seems to be difficult in taking a step. But it is in such a merchandise era that literary has come to the edge of our society, many authors of short story still show their posture of observing. Consciously, they inherit the traditional poetic character of Chinese literary. They interpret the poetry of life through their literary creation, and present the novel's-poetic charm by growing Poetic feeling.As well as studing the evolution of the short story's poetic character from analyzing the short stories which have poetic characters and appear in the 1990s. This paper makes a more clear definition for the styles of short story and their poetry characters to find a starting point for further studying the poetic characters of 1990's Short Stories. Then, based on this point, analyzing the influence to the forming of the poetic characters of 1990's Short Stories which make by the factor such as authors'emotion, ideal and imagination and so on. Finally makes a detail study on the transformation of narrative pattern, the exploration of poem-style language, the forming of text ideal conception, and obtains the distinctive quality of the construction of the 90's short story poetic sentiment space, thus completes the comprehensive interpreting the short stories poetic character of this period.
