As for the ideology, the sentiment, as well as the author's real creation intention of The Story of The Stone, there always exists the research conclusions. However, it actually still has the space for depth interpretation, because of the possibility and necessity for the second reading of its text details. The depth explanation needs the interpretation of the text, which requires subtle bites of text reading, so it is based on the detail of the text itself.The threshold and the end of the novel are the two frontier points for entering and leaving the play, which inevitably involve some truth of the author's creation matters, thus can contain his thoughts and feelings and the creation meaning. But in the middle part of the novel the author was mainly in the telling of the story about his fictional characters. In busy narrating, he can less involve his thought and sentiment directly. In exploring the thought, sentiment and the creational idea, no evidence is more important than the self explanation of the author in the text, so the center of our research is based on the the text content of the beginning and end of the the novel narrative. But as The Story of The Stone is a work which like a sculpture with a broken arm, we can go researching without knowing where to begin to seek the original manuscript about the ending, although it is important to the author original intention discussion. Fortunately, the novel introduction had already confessed the novel story ending through the stone fable story, and the head has already linked to the ending to some extent, thus we may let our inquiral object be locked in the first chapter and the threshold of The Story of The Stone.This paper take the novel's first chapter, the introduction which includes the legend preface of jiaxuben as the research object, and named it as"introduction". And we take the hidden thought and sentiment of the author, including his creation meaning as the clue and target of our inquisition, and named it as the"the Sentiment and Idea". Our research object is the implied sentiment and idea of the introduction of the Story of The Stone. Through detailed analysis of the introduction of the novel, we can find the subtle clues of the sentiment and idea of the author, thus make ourselvese close to the movel's art truth by giving human with artistic inspiration, and help to develop the space of depth explanation for The Story of The Stone.The most important thing for exploring the author's sentiment and idea through the introduction of the novel is to explore the introduction of the novel carefully. This is the process of the discussion to the text artistry, which including the chapter, the partition, the grammar, the writing technique, the style, the expression and so on.The paper take its artistry as the research basic and the method, and take its ideology as the penetration research's guiding principle clue and the total target, then analyzes its intrinsic ideology gradually through the external artistic surface. The paper has four big chapters: the poem language, the autograph legend preface, the character thought, and the narrative region. In the fourth chapter, we also attached the analysis for"the author was crazy"in a poem whose third sentence is"all have said author was crazy", and this analysis can be the basis for inspecting the author core sentiment. These four big chapters have gradually inspected the author's sentiment and idea from text these four aspects.From the author himself's sentiment revealing in poem language world, his appraisal or censuring manners, his creation manner for foretelling the later story; to the pities and the wanting for revealing for his own experience while having to save his secrets in the novel tile and the legend preface; and to many kinds of thoughts which characters representative, as well as the author's manner and ponderation to them; finally to the penetration into the author's philosophy thought climax and the love superlative ultimately, which also is his sentiment and idea core; this is the lonely tragedy which awakens wisdom. And this is about our research's overall steps which is linked to sentiment and idea.Says specifically, the first chapter has two sections. While based on the text narrative, the first inspects the author's method which is used by him to take the poems as the narrative seperation points and reveal his own sentiment. While based on the poem language independently, the second section inspect the author's indistinct sentiment and idea.The second chapter also depart in two sections, separately inspects the novel's several titles'implication, and the real connotation behind the words"decree"and"author's original intention"in the legend preface. The third chapter divides into three. The first discuss the Confucian, Buddha, Taoism, as well as the author's Emotivism which contains in the relations among these three. This truth includes the adorning implicit to his own true things, the hint for readers to find true things from the text, and his pities and sighs for himself. It also includes his opinion for human and word, life and death, and for various ideological views such as Confucian, Buddha, and Taoism. And it also embraces his own thought about life philosophy, his Emotivism and his extremely determined decision. And the core and root of all this lie in the pain of the author who was a wisdom human and who has experienced the progress of consciousness, as well as the lonely persistent for his spiritual realization. His loneliness and pain is a result of goodness after wisdom awakening, which can be expressed as enthusiasm and concern for humankind from a moral point of view. This then push the connotation of the sentiment and idea and the fresh artistic glamour of The Story of The Stone to the extremely high degree as tragical sublimity.
