It is important to study Zhu Xi's thoughts of enlightenment duringsocialist ideological and ethical progress and during the construction of socialist harmonysociety.Zhu Xi inhered and developed the idea of goodness of human nature from Mengzi,according to the reality of Nan Song Dynasty, he brought forward thoughts ofenlightenment.
