The Enlightenment And The Awakening Of The Mankind's Reason

Enlightenment is a charming theme, also a hotspot in nowdays' academe. Everyone could not escape the fate that be fettered or be hoodwinked that made him comfortless in the historical long river, whether this comfortlessness is from exterior or immanent himself, but comfortlessness is not the predeterminate fate of mankind, but the freedom and liberation. As one of dimensionalities of enlightenment and man's essence, the Reason than is become the theme of my paper. Today ,we can say that though enlightenment not belongs to which times only, but as a latter-day idea, it was bring forward by the Occident scholars. So my paper will expatiate the course of reason's expatiate from the angle of history from the Occident middle age to illuminative age.And the corese embody the meaning of enlightenment. Four parts the paper includes:Part one: expatiate the meaning of enlightenment simply and limit the argumentation in the scope of reason enlightenment thought Kant's exoatiating on "illuminative movement", and sequentially expatiate how the reason was suppressed by the Christian belief during the prophase of Middle age.Part two: Enlightenment is not only the awakening of reason ,but also the sensibility enlightenment and it is the prophase of reason enlightenment .This part will expatiate the enlightenment awakening during the Revival of Learning age and the individualism expanding during the Reformation day .Part three: History is never broken, so this part will expatiate the light of Cartesian reason, then mostly expatiate the representation of the reason's establishment , namely the method foundation of reason, the moral dimensionality of reason and the animadvertural essence of reason.Part four: Reason is animadvertural and enlightenment is ceaseless. This part will expatiate the reflect on enlightenment in modern times, and draw the conclusion that "endless enlightenment".
