Shao hengzhen, also named Furu, was a ci-poet of Yuan Dynasty, who wrote 143ci-poems named Yishu Ci. He lived in Yuan and Ming dynasties, which was a period full of warand chaos. But he never gave up writing poems. He was a people influenced deeply by thetraditional culture and he was erudite, versatile. Enjoying the natural scenery was his favorite,and he often drank, wrote poems with his friends. The Ci of Yishu referred to extensive contents,which can be dived into five kinds, expressed his experience and philosophy of life, includeddeep sadness of time's lapse, profound sign for the change of situation and a kind ofself-absorption on Jin's manner. All of those showed the sentiment of the helpless clerisy in thetime when dynastic had already changed. It was very elegant, meaningful in the representationstyle, which rooted in the style of ci in Song Dynasty. So Shao Hengzhen could be worthy of thehonor of the rearguard of Yuan Ci-poem.
