The Study Of Jiaoxun' Mencius Annotate

Jiaoxun' Mencius annotate is the greatest works of Mencius scholium in Qing dynasty and taken granted as "model works of new scholium of Qing dynasty " by LiangQichao. Jiaoxun insisted self-determination and creative in learning research and argued against following blindly the annotate of Han dynasty. Mencius annotate was his lastest work and reflected his research spirit.This thesis analysises the basic content of the research spirit of Jiaoxun on the background of Qianjia school' s research. On the basic relations of the Jiaoxun' s annotate and Zhaoqi' s, this thesis concludes the character of the Jiaoxun's annotate: the first, paying attention to collect the language material; the second, explaining perfect; the third, pointing the undering meaning; the forth, slathering same language pattern proof; the fifth, using the parsing.In Mencius annotate, Jiaoxun inherited the series of the viewpoint of the Daizhen's Mencius character annotate and also have his own illumination. Jiaoxun stressed he made the impersonal explaining to Mencius, but in fact his thoughts rooted in different aspects, especially using Divinatory explaining in the Mencius and departuring the logic of Mencius. This speaks volumes for that there was no impersonal explaining, and therefore classical explaining reflected the subjective intention of the expositor.
