In the January 29th, 2003, a batch of bronzes stored in cellar of the Western Zhou Dynasty was discovered by accident at Yangjia country of Baoji city, Shanxi province, which caused a great home and abroad sensation. It was recorded by the and many other books or journal. The considerable quantity, exquisite mold---making of the bronzes, and the great deal of important inscription on them, made these bronzes posses huge academic worth in archaeology, history, philology and so on. Many scholars studied them, and had made a great deal of achievement in many aspects, such as in calendar, manufacture time, explanation to the inscription, historical event, historical location and so on. But these achievements scattered in each scholar's own paper, so it was not convenient for us to know about or look up them. At the same time, some questions has not been solved completely, especially the explanation of some words. So, I write this paper, of course, basing on the achievement gained by many other scholars. This paper focuses on combing the explanation to some important words made by other scholar, and presents the author's some own opinion, applying the scholium, ancient phonology and other related knowledge. Meanwhile, the paper also introduces other relevant achievement in the academic circles. This paper contains four parts:The first part is introduction, which transcribing the reason, range, and achievement of the study to the bronzes stored in cellar discovered at Mei county in chief. Besides these, this section shows the purpose and ways of the paper. The second potion is the introduction of the relevant circumstances of these stored bronzes and the judgment to their making time. At first, we introduce the discovery and record of these stored bronzes, the discussion of the store nature (and my own hypotheis), as while as the mold---making of each bronze ware, and so on. Then, we provide the achievements have been gained by now on the calendar and making time, though, I can't give my own conclusion. The third one is collected interpretations of some key words, basing on many scholars' gains, I try to provide some my own views. As to these common ancient characters, we intend to leave them out.The last section is lingering discussion. In this part, we try to make a genealogy draft of the clan of the Shan, and enumerate many other bronze wares belong to this clan.At last, I give my great thanks to every teacher and classmates who have been guiding and helping me in the past three years. Meanwhile, I cherish the memory of my dead professor, He. Although, it is only a few hundreds of words, my own true feelings between the lines.
