The Research Of Chinese Traditional Pattern And Modern Visual Design

Along with the development of society and economy, China is melting in the world, and the global development is closer. The global economy will speed the global culture. For a nation which has old culture and tradition, this integration of human culture and living value cause by the economy and consumption is likely to bring a profound influence called "the local missing" in peoples everyday life. And design is being a promoter in the existence and conception through the commerce.Of course we highly hope that China melt in the world, but "China" should still be the premise after she become the international. The multiplicity of China also the other east country is great contribution to the ample world. However "design by China" in the culture is still weaker than "made in China" in the economy. But the "Chinese traditional pattern" who has 7000 years' history may be the important headspring of the international Chinese design. Great vision value will be find if we rediscover those patterns which affected by the different Chinese ideology, religion, folk-custom, district through the modern point of view. It will be a cultural identification of the "international Chinese design".So looking over tradition through the international point of view, neatening its venation, reunscrambling its meaning, translating it to modern visional language and apply myself to the Chinese local design by what I learned, won' t be a malarkey after writing this thesis.
