With the globalization of the economy and life, the strong social psychological hintmakes an increasing impact on people, which even has changed people’s subconscious. Andthere is no doubt that visual graphics, part of visual communication, has implied people’smind. A variety of slogans, signs, posters and even graphic designs hiding in our daily lifebring people into a subconscious trap. Advertisers use some gorgeous visual symbols to beattheir ideas into people’s minds, affecting the behaviors of the consumers. In order to getpeople impressed, these gorgeous symbols appear everywhere around us frequently. And astime goes on, it can be defined as a philosophy, a mental model, and even a meritedpsychological hint. This phenomenon causes the whole society to be affected by differenthints and something unbelievable happened, such as drainage oil capsules, belt, various foodadditives, the frenzied looting salt, a boycott of Japanese goods. The question is asked thatwhy people are easier to be hinted and why people lose their faith and themselves in thismodern society.As described above, firstly, this thesis introduces the background, the situation at homeand abroad, the contents and methods as well as the significance of the research. Secondly,from the perspective of psychology, it introduces the conception and the characteristic and theapplications of psychological hint. And then the thesis design. It also describes the value ofthe theoretical research about the psychological hint in modern design psychology and theinfluence and the role in our daily life.It is more important to have a good state of mind than to have a healthy body. But whatthe most important is to maintain a calm mind. People need to know themselves and controlthemselves very well. And then they have to change themselves and study themselves. At lastthey must follow their own hearts. All of these can be considered as the main starting pointsfor this thesis. The research of the psychological hint becomes more and more important,because it concerns people themselves and it is omnipresent and omnipotent.
