Object: To investigate the effectiveness and treatment effect size of the"Emotional-Cognitive-Behavioral"Psychological intervention Technique on OCD therapy, the present study treated 11 OCD patients. Methods: Using"Emotional-Cognitive-Behavioral"Psychological intervention Technique to intervene OCD, and combing with single-case ABABA design at the same time to measure the change of obsessive-compulsive symptoms by using YBOCS and the self-made questionnaire of subjective assessment as tools. Results: Through the observation of the change tendency of subjects'compulsive behaviors and the self-reported anxiety scores, degree of being bothered by compulsive behaviors and degree of controlling them in five phases, the total scores of YBOCS of subjects fell down from 30 before experiment to 7 after it. The declined rate of the YBOCS total score was 77%. The effective rate of the psychological intervention Technique to another 10 patients was 100%. (The declined rate of their YBOCS total scores was more than or equal with 20%.) The OCS in 5 cases of ten was healed (The total scores of their YBOCS were less than 16.). The OCS of 4 cases left in the other 5 had improved noticeably (The declined rate of their YBOCS total score was more than or equal with 35%.). The OCS of the last 1 case had improved (The declined rate of his YBOCS total score was more than or equal to 20%). Conclusion: Through the study, the"Emotional- Cognitive-Behavioral"Psychological Intervention Technique was proved to be effective, and the treatment effect was very perfect on the OCD therapy.
