Visual Communication Design is based on people's physiology, psychology and culture. It represents the harmony between human and society, human and nature and among human being themselves. Gestalt principle believes that the shape that people perceive is not an objective imitation, but a construction when they see the object. The essence of visual communication design is the activity of visual perception, limited by visual thoughts. Shape is an entirety formed in the twinkling of an eye by the visual perception. The entirety is not the simple addition of all elements, and can be clearly separated from all the other objects in the background. Visual communication transforms the reality by means of coding it into figures, that is, symbolic coding. The audience's understanding to the figures are the decoding process. We live in a world full of symbols, which bear meaning. The symbols have internal drive that can stimulate people's memory of experiences to convert the figures into communicable recessive structural drawing. Embodying the motivity of life and the psychological factors on a deeper scale, they corresponds to the thoughts and feelings of the audience, emphasizing the communication and resonance with the entirety of the object and psychology. They form intense force of impact, touching the inner life of the audience and arousing the resonance. The audience perceive the invisiblity besides the visiblity of the designed works through conveyance and perception, communication and resonance. By means of visual impact, the unconsicousness of the audience is aroused, thus, the objective of conveying the information and expressing the ideas can be achieved.
