| As world famous epic, Tibetan epic Gesar is same as the great epics from India and Greek. They have passed orally on with legends,historical story,poems as alive form. Today epics are still spreading in the Eastern areas. This kind of oral literature is spreading among Tibetan people with open structure and various contents. Simple language style,rich content descriptions,nature narrative structure are the outstanding characteristics. The original ideas,original legend, ancient religion ritual showed its long history. I intend to read and analyze the mystery of epic with the method of mythology and get close to the original epic state with a new analytic way. Use mythology and structuralism from different angle to analyze and research the legend and ancient culture in Gersar. The purpose is that to know and analyze the source of epic, the history development sequences and assemble structure framework of epic by analyzing the structure of epic.chapters : first chapter organizes the mythology about the orign of the world from the materials related to Bon religion and early historic boo of Tibetan, then pick some stories about the original legend from Ladahk edition and other different versions of Gesar to do comparative research. It also introduced briefly about the relationship between epic and legend, the function of legend in the epic.The second chapter is the origin legend of human, according to the origin legend of human in Gesar, it mainly talks about the relationship between Tibetan egg legend monkey Legend with epic. -Described that legend is the source and basis of epic, oral historic legend and epic have different way of showing n and passing on the different local culture.The third chapter, through research and analyze structure formed of ancient Tibetan original legend, tribe original legend, totem legend, war legend and the motif and originalanalisis ,talking about Gesar epic formed thing, the effect between legend and epic, the specific condition and historic background of Gesar epic.In the Chapter four, use the mythology method to through research and analyze the topic on the horse-racing, it mainly talks about the concrete performance of the hard nut to crack for propose and adult's rites in Gesar, and explained the ancient myth rites during the period of develop the variation circumstance of the occurrence in Gesar epic.In the Chapter five, Discuss the Sang's creation and its social function and religious function, in the meantime to explained the《Sang of the world》Be the important rites for the war, and explained the Original blood fiesta rites become to appear mutually in the epic.
