The Narrative Art Of Duras's Novels

We can see that she is a kind of exploration and innovation as the supreme good of the authors and that she belongs to the writers who create their own style. Overall understanding her unique narrative and interpretation from the new angle is meaningful. This paper mainly discusses four areas of the Duras's narrative art, which is in the traditional inheritance and breakthrough.The First part of this thesis discusses the narrative structure which follows the tradition or departures from the tradition or returns to the tradition. Duras establishes a unique, personal, multiple order of the imagination. Her focus is not the plot but a heartbreaking and pathetique atmosphere .The Second part of this article explores the Duras-style narrative from the person and perspective of the Situation narrative. Duras's narrative is not confined to a narrow perspective of one fixed figure. She carefully chooses the person and perspective. She makes the author and the narrative person and readers organically connected together, which creates a unique aesthetic effect.The third part of it is about the time in narrative. Duras adopts a schedule of "breaking" and "integrating" on the time. She cleverly let narrative time and writing time free link, and she uses all kinds of debris to integrate into a time period net to cover her expression of the theme and characters.Finally, this paper discusses the film, drama practices ,as well as music, painting characteristics, which in Duras's writing are the way of "synaesthesia".
