Study On The Usage Of Adverbs In Administrative Documents Of The Notification Text Versions

'Adverb' belongs to a particular category of part of speech in modern Chinese, of which the individual traits of the category components are more distinct than the general ones.Theoretically supported by theories, namely, cognitive theory, fuzzy theory, behavioural theory, and theory on text, and based on Zhang Yisheng's theoretical investigation on adverbs in the contemporary Chinese language, the study on the distribution and usage of adverbs in the administrative documents of the notification text versions is made, which indicates that the usage of adverbs has retelling and enhancing effects on the writing style feature in administrative documents, especially on the cognition of fuzziness, furthermore, the function of adverbs is irreplaceable.The function of adverbs in the administrative documents of the notification text versions is addressed from three perspectives of semantic, grammar and pragmatics by using statistics and comparison .To begin with, the investigation on both adverbs and the writing style feature of administrative documents and their research status indicates that the study on adverbs in the writing style of administrative documents has fundamental significance on both perspectives. Then, distribution of adverbs, focusing on adverbs of time, tone, degree, frequency, negation, etc. in the administrative documents of the notification text versions is surveyed, and application status of adverbs in the administrative documents is generally studied. Finally, from three perspectives of semantic, grammar and pragmatics, a comparison and analysis on adverbs used in administrative documents of the notification text versions is made, consequently, the effect of adverbs enhancing the writing style feature of the administrative documents of the notification text versions is addressed.The study on adverbs set in the administrative document context from three perspectives consisting of semantic, grammar and pragmatics is the originality of the paper.
