The paper is a special research on the influence of the calligraphy style of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi(Two-Wang)in the history of Chinese calligraphy.Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi(the father and the son)are the outstanding calligraphers in the history of Chinese calligraphy. Their calligraphy works and aesthetics have had a very deep effect on the creativity and the theory of calligraphy, and the effect even last the whole history of Chinese calligraphy after them. After Eastern Jin dynasty, with the change of the dynasties, the society and the customs, the calligraphy style of Two-Wang, based on the works of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, have experienced the rise and fall for many times. The position of the calligraphy of Two-Wang was set in the early Tang dynasty, and after it, though no calligraphers didn't treat it as the best example, in fact, the styles in different dynasties are not the same. Just from the point, the paper focuses on the formation, spread and variation of the calligraphy style of Two-Wang, deeply analyses the social, politic, ideological and technical reasons which may effect on it, and indicates its influences on the calligraphers and the styles and the differences among them in different periods, and, finally, draw the conclusions on reason of its lasting and deep influence.In the paper, the simple research on the influence of the calligraphy style of Two-Wang follows the order of Chinese history. And the paper is composed of six chapters: the influence of the calligraphy style of Two-Wang in period of Eastern Jin-South and North Dynasty; the period of Sui-Tang- Five dynasties(Lang, Tang, Jin, Han, and Zhou dynasty);the period of Song dynasty; the period of Yuan-Ming dynasty; the period of Qing dynasty and the period of commentary.
