The paper mainly discusses "Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi" calligraphy andthe acception of them.It is divided into three parts,four chapters. In the first part,according to the are of "Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi" and the manuscripts of WangXizhi, Huang Tingjian considered that the image of "Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi"is virtuousness and otherwordly. The second part is to comment on the calligraphiesof the Tang and Song dynasties of "Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi"calligraphycoherence under their standards. Huang divided them into two camps, one is positiveinheritor, includes Zhang Xu, Huai Su, Yan, Yang Ningshi, Su Shi, Wang Anshi, theyexceeded the past, and formed their own style. The other one, including Ouyang Xun,Yu Shinan, Zhu Suiliang, thoug carried on "Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi", but tiedby the rules. As for Zhou Yue, Su Shunqin, Su Shunyuan, Wang Zhu et al, are vulgar,and criticized by later generations, and negated by Huang. In the third part, fromHuang’s own learning expirence, He revealed "Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi"calligraphy’s technique, such as beginning with the technique of seal character andofficial script, and emphasizing well propotion, aspiring vigorous and fluent bueaty.
