When Freud entered from the clinic practice of neurosis into a field of paranoia, he had to constitute a theory of "narcissism" for the interpretation of a indispensable stage of human's development. But this theory didn't solve the formation of Ego as the object of narcissism. However, Lacan's "mirror stage" did respond to this problem. Moreover, in his later research, he clarified the process that the body is seized as a "image", which is unseparated with his putting forward of the notion of object a.The aim of this thesis is to introduce subject's structure of personality of Lacan. At the same time, it begins with the discussion of Freud's "narcissism" and Lacan's "imaginaire" as a cut-in point. Whereas, after the establishment of the theory of "mirror stage", Lacan thought out that the emphasis he once putted on the "symbolique" can't completely explain those problems emerging from his clinic practice. Therefore, he connected the "imaginaire" "symbolique" and "reel", because without the discussion of "reel", the relation between the two cannot be fixed. In particular, the notion of object a made it possible that "reel" which can neither be imagined nor symbolized could be situated in the proper position. This thesis tries to depart from the notion of "gaze" as object a in order to locate the field of "imaginaire" in its relation with "symbolique" and "reel".
