| The criterion of literaturiness and politicality nearly determine how we criticize twenty century's Chinese literature, and the mutual alterations of standard result in marked differences of criticism. Under such circumstances, detour, as the embodiment of personal literary view, is proposed in this paper: I would rather experience the pain of dilemma which intellectuals experience when they are writing than hesitate over the affirmation of literary works' value. The pain is embodied in the quality of literaturiness and politicality, in the conflict and compromise between personal position and position of main consciousness, and in concrete works such as the hero's adhering and introspection about dream. It is also embodied in conformity and breakthrough of the rules of red writing, as well as, in conformity and creativity of the narrative structure and skill of novel and so on. detour itself does not constitute the criterion of criticizing literature, however, by finding detour, we can more objectively criticize and inspect the power and limit , when new age's literary intellecturals are in the face of rebuilding subjectivity, the relationship between introspective subjectivity and predominant consciousness, in the prosess of constructing modern literary discuss room, and literary writing later on.This paper consists of three parts.The first part is introduction. New Age literature has ever been prosperous for some time ,however, under the standard of Pure Literature, it is degraded. In this paper, the author starts from intensive reading the text and takes account of " the feeling of historical scene" , then put forward a proposal to observe "scar-introspection" literature.The second part is the body, which consists of two pieces:The first piece is theory, which explains the meaning and types of "detour" . To begin with its explaination in dictionary, elaboration on detour and access and its use in scar-introspection literature, and then divide its type according to three scopes, which are intellectural discuss, female discuss and peasant discuss.The second piece is close reading of text. take FuRong Town written by Guhua, the Butterfly written by Wangmeng and Chen Huansheng Go to the Downtown written by Gao Xiaosheng as examples, how detour is embodied in concrete text will be discussed: detour in FuRong Town is embodied in "the constructure of male image". In the Butterfly ,it is embodied in " the limited introspection of revolutionary subjectivity (Zhang Siyuan) and the emergence of non- revolutionary subjectivity ( Qiuwen Dongdong) ,and in Chen Huansheng Go to the Downtown, is "double-emergence of enlightener's image and narrowness of criticism about peasant.The third part is conclusion: Detour originates from personal literary view which mediates the criterion of quality of politics and literature;the effect of detour, the prevalence of detour in New Age literature and its possibility of development in literary stage from now on will be stated briefly. |
