During Wei JiN, the Southern and Northern Dynasty, Fu showed a various and complex characteristic. It inherited Han Fu but further developed it, which set up a precedent for Tang Dynasty's Rhyme Fu. Liang Dynasty is at the last stage of Wei Jin , the southern and Northern Dynasty. At that time, paraller-style Fu had becoming the main stream of all the Fus. But Prosaic Fu, Sao type Fu and Poetic prose Fu are still existing. On the contrary, they influenced by each other and formed an alternative situation.Four Xiaos(Xiao Yan, Xiao Tong, Xiao Gang, Xiao Yi) are the political leaders in Liang Dynasty, actually they led the cultural trend as well. They advocated different styles in literature, owing to their own different political positions and psychological states. Xiao Tong gained the prince as the eldest son. He lived in the royal palace and the comfortable life gave him deep influences on his cultural views. Xiao Gang succeeded the prince after Xiao Tong died. Owing to the change in the political position, his difference from Xiao Tong was becoming more apparent, who advocated colorful Gong Ti literature, and this is against Xiao Tong. However, Xiao Yi's showed the characteristic of the two's combination. However, for any kind of cultural thoughts, their occurance and spreading must be admitted by Xiao Yan. In a way, Xiao Yan is a real leader of modern literature in Xiao Liang times.Four Xiaos' Fu showed a new special characteristic, influenced by the previous fu as well. Prosaic Fu has not only traditional long Fu but condensed intone-things, expressing lyrics. Meanwhile, Prosaic Fu and pareller-style Fu are intersected by each other, showing the strong reflections of pareller-style Fu. But the standard Sao-type Fu is seldom seen in four Xiaos' Fu, whose basic sentences usually contains "xi". The kind of Fu also inherited the Sao type's characteristic, which was good at showing feelings. So it always filled with colors and feelings. Influenced by Five poetry and Seven Poetry, Four Xiaos created typical poetic Fu. In addition to this, many short -songs like ballads also composed of Four Xiaos Poetic type Fu. Paraller -type Fu is the main stream of four Xiaos' Fu, whose well -composed and strict rhyme made the foundation for the appearance of Tang Dynasty's Rhyme Fu. The several kinds of Fus are influenced by each other, so we can't simply tell which belongs to what system, if we divide them into a classification. They are a complex existence. Meanwhile, the Fus also combines their cultural thoughts, Cultural thoughts instruct their works and Fus are the reflections to their thoughts.
