The Study On Double Objects In Modern Chinese

The double objects are a sentential form which is universally taken notice by the linguist recently. They often studied many new things about the double objects. The first part of the paper which was based on the experiences of our predecessors regulated the basic form of the double objects with the criterion of possessing unity interior and having exclusion exterior, differentiate the transformations of the double objects, the apposition objects, the spatial scales, from the double objects.The second part, we studied the syntactic character and the meaning of the double objects. There is integral connection between the double objects and the trivalent verbs. Only ravel the connection of the two, we can know more about the double objects. After we study it, we found the double objects were the special sentence form of the sentence formed by trivalent verbs in which with three semantic components existing. But the construction of double objects is more compact than others. At the same time, not all the trivalent verbs can be used in the double objects, because the trivalent verbs are deferent from the double objects. Then, after comparison the deference of the offer double objects and the dative form, the sentence of the appellative verbs and the verb phrase consisting of a modifier and word, the claim double objects and the verb-object, after the analysis of the reason for the formation of the double objects, we got the conclusion of the syntactic meaning: the double objects is a kind of sentence that represent a single action and a single process, and then express the three indispensable which are needed in the single process, which are from the subjective ness of people.The third part, we talked about the connection between the domain and the double objects, which from the claim verbs and the special characters of the domain. The meaning of the claim verbs is getting the domains of the things, so between the indirect object which processes the hominine character and the direct object, there is only the domain existing. The character of the state-owned domain is that when the process of transferring the ownership needs three indispensable compositions: the agent (gainer), object (impairer), the acquisition. So the double objects can compose the three indispensable things into a whole sentence.The forth part, we studied how the bivalent verbs can be used in the double objects. The valence on verbs can not decide the number of the component, and the sentence can decide the valence on verbs temporarily and it offer a great chance for the bivalent verbs existing in the double objects.The fifth part, we thought that the hierarchy of the double object must be trisection. Only the sentence is trisection, it can accord with the semantic construction and the semantic meaning of the double objects.
