Richard Strauss is the Germany important composer and conductor at the end of the nineteenth century.In the early period of creation,he has written 7 symphonic poems,"Thus Spoke Zarathustra" is one of them.The works,created by Nietzsche's works of the same name,show the pursuit of Nietzsche's philosophical thoughts.Based on analysis,Richard Strauss developed the genre that was created by Liszt.The works are the symphonic poem milepost type works.The innovation of this paper mainly includes the following three aspects.Firstly,the will motive is proposed.In this work,Richard Strauss used a short motivation throughout the whole work.The motivation represented Nietzsche's strong will,so I called him "will motive".The development of this motivation is mainly the harmony variation,the various harmonies make the motivation have great tension and impetus,and it strongly promotes the development of music,so that the music obtains the splendid acoustics effect.Secondly,the antagonism of tonality also reflects that Nietzsche's "will to power" is realized through struggle.the mode of tonality transformation of the work is related to two pillar tonality-C and B tone.When the two tonality forms a violent collision,Richard Strauss will be collocated with two degrees tonality.When the two tonal ease the contradiction between,Richard Strauss will use seven chord enharmonic modulation and through Naples enharmonic chord modulation.Third,in the works of the beginning,middle and end use drums,timpani and other musical instruments played extremely large scale continuous tone,expressed strong will of Nietzsche.
