The local chronicle has important historical data and academic value. This is a sum of most valuable wealth. To collect, reorganize, preservate, develop and use the local documents, is the work has vital significance. Shanxi region vast, local chronicle in each district there are some local chronicles have own situations of various fields in this area, among them there are many has precious value and unique meaning. I have participated in this subject of" name index of Jin Dynasty " of the project in the ancient committee of the university as a graduate student, responsible for the open will and extract, arrangement of all the name of Jin Dynasties in the office , county annals of Shanxi. It lasts one year and six months, collect more than 1 million words materials. Consult the local chronicles of 116 kinds of Shanxi, collect to more than 150 writers, this text is written on this basis.During carrying on the project, I went to the library of Shanxi university,the library of Shanxi province and national library ,etc. Consulted and excerpted local chronicle documents in Jin dynasty about stone engraving , photomechanical printing ancient book and film. Register to personages contained in the local records, deed , poem , mountains and rivers of historic site chant, metal and stone record of events inscribed on a tablet, epitaph , skill gentle record of will ,etc. in such Jin Dynasty materials go on foundation that compile, gather the writers with works handed down from ancient times materials in an all-round way, summarizing its biography and works and research, contrast such materials as "Zhongzhouji","Jinshi"," Guiqianzhi","Zengbuzhongzhouji"," Quanliaojinshi","Quanliaojinven"etc. find out the source of documents, supplementary and original and meaningful, find and solve the problem that some is valuable. The full text is divided into three major parts: First chapter, To classified and reorganized the material completely from "Zhongzhouji","Jinshi"," Guiqianzhi", "Zengbuzhongzhouji" rests on its source. Second chapter, To classified and reorganized the writer's materials from other documents in Shanxi local chronicle,supplements the value materials.The first kind was "Zhongzhouji","Jinshi"," Guiqianzhi","Zengbuzhongzhouji"have the record, but the local chronicle still had the supplement the biography materials. Carries on the induction, the reorganization to it, according to the content which supplements carries on the classification, It can divide into four parts: supplementing it's the feats and the anecdotes of government official, supplementing its chants and poems of scenic spots and history site, supplementing its learning or the lecture place and supplementing writer's family.And indicates it by the strip in the local chronicle source;The second kind for has not seen to"Zhongzhouji","Jinshi"," Guiqianzhi","Zengbuzhongzhouji",at the same time also may supplement " Quanliaojinshi ","Quanliaojinwen" the material, rests on the content which it supplements to make a reorganization, It can divides into six parts supplementing feats of government official, supplementing writer's background of poems, supplementing some friends of writers supplementing writer's family, supplementing chants and proses background, supplements the concerned writer to make friends, supplements the writer family, supplementing chants and proses of scenic spot and other biography materials and so on .Indicates each item the source and strip in the local chronicles.Third chapter, has not seen to "Zhongzhouji","Jinshi"," Guiqianzhi'","Zengbuzhongzhouji". the prose work by the form of table to make there organization, the induction, supplements 18 writers and 14 poems which " Quanliaojinshi ","Quanliaojinwen" has not received.The purpose of of this text lies in making the organization, summing up to the writer, works materials of Jin Dynasty. Thus find out it and recorded the situation , and compares with other documents , finds out the source of documents, distinguished the difference of contents, The way to combine the characters with the form , carries on more overall clearance to local chronicle documents, what there is the different one or can supplement guests on the summary with overall view to the content that is recorded, in order to solid foundation for the further research in the future.
