Franz Kafka (1883—1924), an Austrian novelist, who is one of the most famous modernistic litterateurs and occupies an important position in the history of world literature. He just becomes well-known after his death and his works such as "The Trial" "The Metamorphosis" are regarded as the masterpieces of the 20th century. Goethe once said that "the comments on Shakespeare are endless". I think it is also appropriate to use the word "endless" to remark on Kafka because his works are complex, profound and abstruse. Kafka's paradoxical character arose furious discussions among literary field.Kafka said that all of his works are just "about images of himself. In fact, the female images in his works incarnate his experiences and ideas about his being and the world he lives in. Also only by analyzing the female images can solve some difficulties in Kafka's Study. The article utilizes the historical materialism viewpoint and the social culture criticism angle, absorbs feminist criticism theory that fit the subject, through text analysis to construe the female images in Kafka's works: the women of "sex" and the women in everyday life. All these we have done would obtain benefit in the apprehension of Kafka himself and his works.
